WHAT IS AN ELOPEMENT…

Eloping today isn’t about running away in secret — it’s about choosing an intentional, meaningful way to get married. An elopement is a wedding day focused entirely on you two — your love, your story, and the way you want to start your life together. Whether that means hiking to a mountaintop at sunrise, saying your vows in a quiet forest, or exchanging rings in a city you’ve always dreamed of visiting, an elopement gives you the freedom to create a day that feels authentic, relaxed, and deeply personal.

What does an Elopement day look like?

Just like most couples, you probably don’t know where to start on planning what your elopement day will look like. There’s not a checklist when it comes to a unique day where you can do whatever you like. If you’re feeling lost, here are a few ideas to help you start invisionsing your day!

Activities can be a great way to make the day more personalized and feel like you. What do you two like to do together? It can be hiking, hot air balloon rides, can-ams, a picnic, and so much more! Choose the activities you enjoy to do together. We want all of this captured and every memory to be an adventure.

Elopements can be intimate and just the two of you, but that doesn’t mean it has to be — they can include your closest friends, family, or even your dog. What matters most is keeping the day intentional and intimate. Think about who makes you feel at ease and supported, and who you truly want to share this moment with. Whether it’s two witnesses or a handful of loved ones, your day will be most meaningful when it’s surrounded by the right energy.

A great place to start is to consider what views and backround you want in your photos — are you looking for trees, or red rock? Are you wanting cliffs, raveens, or canyons? This is a great place to start and will help you find out what permits are needed in your area.

Get in contact with me by filling out the contact form in the link below. Tell me a little about yourself, and what your envisioning for your day. If you don’t have a vision or know where to start, that’s OKAY! We can figure it out together!

After we chat it’s time to secure your date! Once you select a date, I will require a 50% retainer to reserve the time slot for you. If any planning is needed, I will send you location recommendations and anything else you may need for the day to go by smoothly.

Once you show up to the session, that’s when the fun begins. I will walk you through every step of the way giving you fun cues to get you laughing and feel more comfortable and confident in front of my camera. I am hands-on and ready to position your body to the perfect postion to have you both looking amazing.
